Romney is a person who is really defined by his management experience. That is what you would be voting for. Candidates like RP are defined by their ideology. His ideology is bot based on study or intelligence but faith.
The Austrian economists called the crashes, your precious Keynesians not only failed but they failed spectacularly time and time again.
Oh and BTW, Romney whined that he lost money on the last crash. So much for his so called expertise.

I have a very good life with the status quo. If nothing changes I will live a long, prosperous middle class life.
I am hoping for big changes before my kids get out on their own however.

Fine, then just give me a 3rd party candidate without supporters that are assholes about it. Ron paul supporters are the worst thing for his cause.

I have issues with some Ron Paul's ideas. I haven't counted out voting for him in the general election, depending on the debates.
What you're seeing from me on this board is blowback for being spoken of like a sheep for not falling in lock-step with his policies.

Any change isn't going to come from the top. You could put anyone you wanted in as President and things would move only a few degrees one way or another.
There has to be systemic change. Public financing would be huge. Everyone who says they want change should vote against any of their congressfolk who are especially close to our corporate overlords. I am almost certainly going to vote against my Senator Schumer next time. On a lot of issues, he's pretty good, but, he is way too closely tied to Wall Street. That's always been a problem with NYS Senators. Wall Street really likes, as LBJ used to put it, to have their peckers in its pocket.
Ron Paul has been in Congress forever and did he change anything there? No, he didn't. Why do you think that will change if he becomes President?

The one person running that has experience in righting companies that are in the red. This is why a lot of us are willing to bet on him.
His record is definitely blemished, but out of the entire pool he is the only one that has shown that they can and will do what it takes to start our economic recovery.
I still say he needs to grab Huntsman to tie up the Independents and the disenfranchised Dems.

The people voting out status quo and voting in Ron Paul would only happen if change had/has occurred from the ground up.
Be part of the change you are looking for - Vote Ron Paul 2012!!!
