Its a political issue not a real crisis. The Tea Party made it an issue but both parties are just pandering and dont consider it to be a real crisis at all

The crisis is both very real and very political. It also may be a constructed crisis considering just how predictable it is. We know where we are going, the question is why we are seemingly unable to stop it.

To them its just an election year political issue. The Tea Party brought it to the forefront and both parties will pander by doing various things but nothing serious.
It will take a real crisis like the Great Depression to wake them up
