For me it's not so much about what they do to the dead people. They're dead and don't care. It's about what the actions say about the people doing the peeing. Killing other human beings is an extremely serious thing and it obviously wasn't for these guys.
You can't normalize killing for human beings by making it one of their daily duties at work then expect them to be all solemn about it. There is nothing wrong or unusual about dehumanizing your enemy. it is an obvious byproduct of war. If you don't like it become a pacifist. but don't be mad at the people fighting your battles for you because they become what most humans who war become.

Those troopers are there fighting a war because they were given orders to do it. When you are there absurdity and chaos attack you , with the enemy, on a daily basis. Something happens, something extraordinary. Over time, this has a deadly effect. Now , you can pause and choose the way you think in any situation (e.g. imagine yourself in a Nazi death camp and being faced with life or death choices constantly). It takes some time and training to cultivate thinking for yourself. However, thinking for yourself is not what soldiers are taught. They are taught to obey orders, to pull the trigger. Pulling the trigger puts you into a different world. You cannot judge these soldiers by the standards of the world you live in. Which is worse: Pulling the trigger and ending the life of someone or pissing on them after they are dead? The pissing part is an insane ritual which bonds the troops together, the guys in the frigging ditch-not the guys playing chess in a war room with the lives of the soldiers.
My recommendation: Get out of the military gracefully. It's a thankless mad job. You will end up in a bar reminiscing about the crazy old days with other guys who have post traumatic stress.

Oral_Butthurt is in permanent /meltdown mode. I haven't seen someone like him on the Outpost in awhile. I mean he isn't unique since he is just copying others, but the comedy he is is entertaining.

The outrage by the chain of command is puzzling. If the guy I'm pissing on just killed one of my platoon members, I'm sorry, I just forgot my manners. Futz them.
I can understand it,it could infuriate people in the country your in that weren't "the enemy" , reduce support for you being there and increase support for the enemy all of which puts our soldiers safety and our overall mission at greater risk.It isn't so much about the actual act as it is about the image it presents.IMO it is in their best interest to act outraged.
