From what I understand Mormons believe god has a wife, that god at one time had its own god,and they also believe that everyone else can become a god too and create thier own worlds.

The Jews edited God's wife Asherah out of their texts around 600 BC.

This argument has been covered at the Outpost ad nauseum, but it is somewhat amusing to see Bonk flail around at it like a drunken cripple.
The Book of Mormon does not supersede the Bible. It's more like a sequel to the Bible in the eyes of Mormons.
If anything, I'd say Mormons are more Christian than the rest of the religion, since the majority of them walk the walk and don't get all judgmental declaring who is or isn't a Christian.

It does supercede the Bible. It adds to it and explains it further. Its later revelation just like the New Testament is to the Old Testament.
Very ignorant people in this thread. Dont even post here if you dont know what you are talking about

I believe that their book of Mormon was written around the same time as portions of the Bible was being written.
It is dated starting around 600BC til I don't remember. I am not sure you know what you are talking about on this one.
They received the book and translated it to English much later but the actual book was written by what they believe to be prophets here in America.
They foretold of a Messiah. Anticipated his return and supposedly he came to them as well. They call the book "another" testament.
I do not believe they think it supersedes the bible but they do tend to use it a lot more imo.
Edit: Looks like 600BC through 421 AD.

The book of Mormon was written by Joseph Smith in the 17th or 18th century, very recently.
Its a religion but at its start its no more credible than Scientology is today

They would tell you that it was translated by him.
Why is it such a hard sell to believe that people living in other parts of the world are receiving the same information?
That is not what I have a hard time getting my head around. It makes sense to me that the information would be given to more than just a small sample of people if it is the truth.

Its not Christianity. Its a religion that is similar to modern day Scientology.

With his 3rd grade education he wrote that. They say it was finished ~ 75 days. It is 531 pages long. Hmmm.
Ignorance is definitely abundant here.
