Well, this kind of stupidity nullifies my earlier point that he shouldn't have been expected to return to Congress and vote against the NDAA. You can't pick and choose your causes without making it clear what your priorities are. What's more, to be absent from Congress for many of the bills that required spending MORE money (like NDAA), then showing up to vote against raising the debt ceiling is kinda like showing up to a pizza party after telling your friends you didn't want to chip in for it.

Why am I supposed to care about this? Cause he only picked one issue to complain about?

South Carolina: Romney 35%, Gingrich 21%, Santorum 16%, Paul 16%
Paul won't be able to get it done.
Florida is just as bad for him.

There was a big hullabulloo here few weeks back that Paul didn't return to DC to vote against the NDAA. Quite a few people defended him (myself included) because candidates on the campaign trail don't normally run back to DC to vote, even for their own pet projects. I find it pretty stupid that he thinks that voting down the debt ceiling is more important than voting down the NDAA. Since when is refusing to pay your bills more important than spending less money?

I think a vote against the debt ceiling is bigger than a vote against the NDAA. That was going to pass regardless, but the debt ceiling has been hotly contested already and it is the bigger fish.
I don't understand the criticism of his actions. Say what you will about his ideas you can't deny his consistency.

Seems like a rather pointless thing to care about. RP is a crazy loon but this complaint falls flat.
