I now understand why so many men lie to women |
My truth is horrifying to most women I would date
It was I was laid off, moved back to live with my dad, got clinically depressed, and didnt get help, get a regular job and restart my life until my father passed away. This is the truth

I've dated more in the last couple of years than I ever have in my life. I'm not great looking, not in good shape, and I'm not in great health and it shows.....but have no problem getting dates. It's all about asking them out. If you ask out 5 women....1 of them is going to say yes. Humor works wonders, self deprecating (to a limit) is probably the best. Just have to keep trying man.
Don't be looking for love in every date, see what happens. Sometimes it's just really nice to have dinner with an intelligent woman and listen to them talk. Of course, sometimes it's really nice to drive around a stripper wanna be while you do belly shots off each other. Surprising thing is, both types like to be asked out if you aren't a total creep about it. Listening to them talk is the most important thing you can do to get a second date, or more, from them. Look at it this way, you probably don't want to talk about your life anyway....so ask them about theirs.
Back to the subject, women lie just about as often as men do which is too often. And yes some women aren't comfortable unless you are being a prick.

How about you fell on hard times and moved back in with your father until he passed. Yeah you might have issues but nothing so severe that felt you needed to get help for. After your father passed you went got out there with a new outlook on life and are just having fun while you reorder your life by focusing on your career and trying to find someone to love.
Sounds like the truth to me.

That is exactly what happened. My short term girlfriend was shocked when she found out I had to live with my father. Even she couldnt handle the truth
Also once mentally ill like I was forever mentally ill according to some people.

Lots of people move back to help take care of sick parents. I myself moved to New York partly to help my 96 year old grandpa, who stubbornly refused to let me live on his empty 3rd floor (he owns the brownstone and used to rent that floor out). Now I live an hour away by train and he complains he doesn't see me as much as he wants. I don't see any shame in living with family... especially since you're on your own now.

Lots of women, lots and lots, lie to guys also. Both sexes are not as different as you think they are, Bonk. Both sides have their fair shares of liars, cheaters and assholes/bitches

Listen to him more and don't always think everyone is out to get you. Even if it wasn't fishing for a compliment this was exactly the way to turn it around. Except for the part that most women like to be treated like crap. That's utter bullshit and only those that have not reached puberty.
Yeahhhh... gonna have to call BS on this one. And only because I am the same way and I understand. The difference in sexiness to me between some passive little nice girl vs. an aggressive hot party girl who is most likely going to sleep with all my friends, is too great to underestimate.
And it's only more so with girls. The bad boy who won't settle may as well be your cocaine. Grab a dollar bill, roll it up, and inhale!

You don't have to tell the truth or lie.
When someone asks me a question I don't feel like answering..I ask them "why do you need to know that?" and that usually ends that topic one way or another. It's magic.
When you move things along enough you can tell the truth ..but never lie.
