It was unfortunate all around but while we are worrying about victims lets remember the victims that happened after Joe Pa stuck his head in the sand. Victims that were raped at PSU facilities and while attending PSU football games in a special box given to their tormentor by the university. The real victims, you know. The ones Garth is forgetting about while he cries for Joe Pa.
I'm sure Joe Pa never saw Sandusky sitting in his box, or on the sidelines, with other young men he failed to protect.
For what...a decade after the original incident? 
I'm going to stop because the man's dead. He paid for his inaction. May he RIP.

not what i said - i asked who wouldn't feel like they could have done more with the benefit of hindsight.
and Bonk, you wouldn't call 911 unless you saw the crime in progress. McQueary should have called 911. JoePa reported it, as he was supposed to, to the head of the university police department and the head of the Athletic department, who both actually did cover up what happened.
making Paterno the fall guy for their negligence isn't about justice, it's mob mentality vengeance.
give us a break Nnanji, you don't care about the victims any more than the rest of the mob. all you have at this point are ad-hominem attacks.

The thing is in some of these organizations the only place crimes like this are reported is to the upper management and many times the upper management hushes it up and does nothing.
This is what happened with the Catholic Church. Just call 911 and let the cops handle it. Dont try to handle it institutionally

Guess again Garth. I do care....college football is a very large part of my history and life. I care very much that an icon of college football failed so miserably as a leader of men and that he allowed his program to be used as a vehicle for a known pedophile to commit his crimes.
