The 1.2 million is for 4 years. So they were really making 250k/year.

Comparing the % given to charity by a couple earning 250k/year and 20 million a year is pretty stupid.

Doesn't surprise me SRC was the one to do it.

P.S. They were also taxed at a much higher rate. If they had been taxed at the same % Romney was they could have given the same % to charity as he did and still had the same take-home income.

What, giving away political momentum, his base, and the 2010 election don't count as charity?

FoxNews doesn't let facts get in the way of a good spin piece.

I gave around 9k to charity last year, and I make under six figures. So in four years, at 250k a year, they gave 10k.

I'm guessing you don't give a shit about charity to suggest 10k over four years by people who make 1.2 million is ok. Lets hope someday you aren't in need and live in a liberal area.

His cult counts as a charity, dumbass. Just because you idiots give your money to representatives of the Invisible Man in the Sky doesn't make you better people. It makes you stupid. hth

If you've seen all the things Michelle Antionette spends other people's money on, you'd understand why they'd be stingy when it comes to giving theirs away.

I'll give Romney credit for going above and beyond, but from the moment he was born he was expected to pay 10% of everything he earned to his church. I don't exactly consider that "charity".

The truth is liberals dont give as much to charity because they expect the government to do it by taxing people and then giving that money to other people.

Anything you claim on your taxes is not Charity imo. Charity is given without expectation of a return. Using it as an excuse to avoid paying taxes defeats the purposes.

As does keeping score.

Shame on you Skinny.
