I liked those books, they move quickly and drag you along with them.
The only part I really didn't like was the boyfriend.
I am really enjoying The Alloy of Law. It is like the first Mistborn book where it is awesome before they got less awesome.
I'm upset yes, the idiocy of the main character actually ruined my afternoon I was in a fine mode riding home and listening to the book, and she did something extremely stupid and I just got annoyed and I stayed annoyed until I got home.
Okay so it's like the first book? I was really impressed how Sanderson managed to take such a huge dump over a series, I can not abide incompetence and inaction.. The way of Kings was really really good I was surprised but the flashback things got very annoying, and the switching between characters was also a bit onerous.
Looking forward to book 2 in that series, if Sanderson ever finishes the wheel of time.. Murphy stipulates that something horrible will happen to Sanderson before the books can be finished.
I'll look up the alloy of law I'm out of fantasy to read/listen to atm.. Got a few historical books that are taking up my time.

Sanderson already finished the first draft of the final Wheel of Time book.
He is like halfway done writing the second draft.

i pee sitting down all the time, but it's mainly from working 12hr shifts in the steel mill. so when working nights and waking up to pee, im still usually asleep on the toilet.

Unless you're wearing a skirt I'd say it would take LONGER to drop trow and cop a squat just to pee. If you're SO f'n lazy that you sit to pee for the "break" you need to /wrist now.
If you think that it makes you superior then you're a metro freak and /dismiss is in order.

Being lazy is not about getting shit done as fast as possible. HTH! 
Yoss, I started reading AoL today and am about 10 chapters in. I tend to really enjoy Sanderson's stuff, but every single book is so slow to start. Or at least slow to enjoy. I'm doing the audiobook and caught myself twice now saying a characters line in sync with the narrator (ok, I was two words off for one of them, but the guy still said what I said verbatim!) I immediately groan right afterwards because it was the stupidest or most contrived thing I could think of to say.
This gives me great ire as a reader, but as a soon-to-be/wannabe author, it gives me great hope that I will one day be writing corny one-liners right up there with the guys who finish the Great's books. I think this guy really really enjoys his anime, and it shows.
This sounds overly harsh (partly tongue in cheek); the story is just now picking up and I'm very much enjoying it now.
