...I tend to sit down when I'm in the bathroom too.
I don't consider myself less of a man for it either.

If you sit down and pretend your a woman and wipe yourself, then you might have cause for concern. Otherwise , dont worry about it.

If I'm standing up anyway or walking around, whatever, I'll stay standing.
But why, if I'm already in lazy mode, would I not want to stay in lazy mode as much as possible? Maybe I'll even pull out my phone and check a text or something. I might sit there for an extra 30 seconds or so. I don't see the big deal, and if you're standing up just to defend your own masculinity, when its just you and the man in the mirror, you've probably already lost that battle.
I'm talking about your own home here, btw, not some smelly ass public or work bathroom.

Idiots who think standing and peeing is in any way a manly act need to get their head out of their asses, they also need to start standing when they poop because we all piss a bit as we're taking a dump and according to them that's not okay. 
Certain Outposters have some weird hangups.

When I sailed across the Pacific I had a problem learning to (just) pee while sitting. But if you tried to stand it went everywhere..

Are you suggesting that the rest of us get up to piss even if we are already on the commode?
How is this even a point that you gave some thought to? As you approach the toilet you only sit if sitting is called for. In that event you pee sitting down. Otherwise you just pee and skedaddle.
If you do anything else you are doing it wrong.
