That plottwist in the end really gets ya! 
Either way Yoss, I read 2 of the weather warden books and I'm appealed by them.. The main characters modus operadi seems to consist of being taken captive, and a whiny captive at that, she's weak, shallow and refuses to do what the situation craves her inability to actually take action is just putting her and everyone she knows in a deeper mess, it's actually quite interesting to read a series of books where the main protagonist is her own main enemy.
a great example of her incompetence and her circumvention way of reasoning is best explained by the scene where David becomes capitve by Kevin's mother and our heroine just fumes and rages that she "would kill that bitch" 3 minutes later Kevin order hers to kill his mother and she's like "oooh nooo i can't do that I'm to stupid and roundabout to even ponder such a forthright and practical solution especially since she's raping and torturing my boyfriend this moment"
I mean the writer should at that point just be sodomized by a pack of angry sloths.. why sloths? BECAUSE IT WOULD TAKE FOREVER!

I liked those books, they move quickly and drag you along with them.
The only part I really didn't like was the boyfriend.
I am really enjoying The Alloy of Law. It is like the first Mistborn book where it is awesome before they got less awesome.

I pee standing up but There is a strong argument against it. I once went to a ritzy club some years ago and they had infrared lights in the stalls and you could see every splash your piss makes. I'll tell you more piss gets on you during a pissing standing up than I care to detail.

I once peed all over my friends leg... Its pretty easy to forget where youre pointing it when youre drunk.
Im glad my friend was cool about it and didnt get irate.
