Actually the point is that the Republicans are not right just because the Democrats are incompetent.

The logic is fine and I think half the point is that this is the problem with American politics.

same same, unless you are supporting a third party candidate. This is the exact same reasoning republicans use to explain away bush. So if dems get a pass for obama wouldn't everyone get a pass for everything?
