Congressional democrats are notoriously bad at playing the political game. They are always one step behind, reactive instead of proactive. Just because Republicans are good at politics doesn't make them good politicians.

It would be fine by me if the election came down to Obama and someone left of Obama. In reality the choice is far different and the Democrats will have a hard fight just to keep their candidates in the positions they are in.
Moe's position is horribly detached from reality. Granted last time I checked he was a Newt guy.

Democrats are great at getting elected and terrible at running the country.
And according to Democrats, Republicans are great at running the country even when they didn't get elected.

Both parties can be obstructionist but such a tactic tends to play into the gameplan of conservatives more than progressives.
