This idea seems correct.....but I think there is a good reason for it.

GOP policy boils down to two things: tax cuts, stopping Democratic initiatives.

To get the first done you need 50 Senators and a majority in the House. To get the second done you need 41 Senators.

The Democrats have a much more expansive agenda almost all of which requires 60 senators to agree, plus a House majority.

The rules of the senate are stacked in favor of the GOP agenda.

I'm not seeing much failure on the part of Obama.

HCRA
OBL dead
Iraq war finally over
Economy starting to pick back up
Quite a lot of his agenda has been approved despite constant obstruction by the GOP

Now, I don't agree with a lot of his agenda..but he hasn't failed in passing it.

The Republicans should love Obama considering he's doing nothing but pretending to be Dubya's third term.

While it's true that Obama is to the right of Reagan, he isn't to the right of Shrub...thank goodness.

He is also getting stuff done, something Shrub never could do. The only similarity in policy Obama and Bush Jr have is on privacy and power of the government...and even there, Obama is no where near as bad as the idiot who came before him.

This statement is not born out by reality. The Democrats have steadily advanced collectivism for 100 years. Unfortunately all to often with Republican help.

The good news is that collectivism/democracy ultimately crashes all governing systems. Going to be painful when it happens but it will happen.

Both totally suck. The alternatives are even worse, which is crazy lunacy from the Right

if doing something awful is success then he wins I guess. What a weird way to look at it. You could always get a pass with that yard stick if you were vague enough about everything.

No but their failures definitely invalidate the Democrats and the libtard world view.
