A vegan diet is high in sugar.

Carbs are sugar

Fruits are full of sugars.

You cant have a low sugar vegan diet

From what Ive seen the difference is the fiber. Fruit sugar combined with the natural fiber in the fruit will be treated differently by the body than fruit sugar in a processed fruit juice for example.

Sugar is always a carb...a carb is not always a sugar. Its like a square-rectangle thing.

Examine a Fatty's diet and what is the number one thing they eat? Sugar.

very true

regulations on sugar seems better than regulations on fat people.

Especially since, you know, national healthcare will mean that all of us are paying for the elevated costs created by those fatties, right?

We already were anyway...

The sugary soft drinks are pretty extreme. I think its addictive and you dont realze how sweet they taste when you drink them regularly.

Also, they are kinda nasty - coke, 7up..its kind of gross when i see people drinking carbonated beverages out of the can.

A pure meat diet would be ultra low in any kind of sugar.

This is bad, though, because sugar is a necessity for regular body chemistry to be maintained.

I heard cinnamon helps metabolize( not sure if that is the right word) sugar.

If you want to educate the public on the downsides of sugar that is fine. If you want the government to step in and decree how people should eat, go eff yourself.
