The problem is, just like salt, we add it to everything. People get something between 6 to 12 ounces (depending upon age and gender) of added sugar a day in their diets. WTF? Most of it thru drinks and chocolate. Waaaaaay too much.
Start drinking water instead of soda or sport/energy drinks...and most of the problem is gone.
The other problem with Sugar and Salt is that its Processed.
Processed Sugar and Iodized Salt are terrible for you.
If you choose to use either, use Raw Sugar and Sea Salt

Moral of the story, why not choose to be healthy and happy for the rest of your life?
You realize that you will get old, sick, dependent on medication, and suffering from their side effects, eventually? And then you will die. Nothing you eat or don't eat will change that.
