Examine a Fatty's diet and what is the number one thing they eat? Sugar.

very true

regulations on sugar seems better than regulations on fat people.

Especially since, you know, national healthcare will mean that all of us are paying for the elevated costs created by those fatties, right?

I think sugar is addictive. If I don't eat sugar, I have no desire to eat sugar. I go through the holidays and eat a bunch of sugar, and I crave sugar for 10 days after I have my last sweet.

Yeah, that's going to happen in the future because of Obamacare.

It's certainly not happening already.

Oh I agree totally.

We should get involved with regulating other unsafe activities too, such as contact sports, "risky" hobbies like skydiving, hang-gliding, rock climbing, etc.

Further, there should be mandatory breathalyzers installed on all vehicles that you have to pass before the vehicle's electrical system will let you start it up and all vehicles sold should be limited to a maximum speed of 65MPH electronically.

In fact, driving by itself is just dangerous regardless of how slowly you do it, there should simply be regulation of the numbers of miles per year driven so as to lower insurance costs from injuries from vehicle accidents.

After all, we're all paying for it right? Might as well make sure that nobody costs everyone else unfairly because they were so shortsighted to engage in an activity that was dangerous or might lead to medical costs...

1./ wrong and right, any diet is full of sugar if you consume a lot of it.
2./ True, they are metabolized into sugar, difference is that unrefined carbs are metabolized much slower which allows you to use the sugar rather than it be stored as fat.
3./ This is true and too much of any sugar is not good. When you eat the entire fruit though the fiber from the fruit helps reduce the glycemic spike as opposed to drinking only the juice for example.
