Walker: I do not like it when less RAM on a card indicates moar powah! Because of magic with the GPU.. Either way I'm going with the 570 might as well since it's what is better!

look at it this way

which is the more powerful system

a computer with a pentium 4 with 32 gbs ram(removing technical barriers)

or an i7 with 16 gbs ram?

the gpu on most cards will be the bottleneck....not ram

amount of ram on a card doesn't matter in most applications....unless you are running multiple monitors

but if you are dead set on getting a 2gb card then have at it! it won't hurt anything

Imo if the price diff is small, go for a K model and beefier cooler. So easy to OC so just do it for the heck of it.
But sure the stock speeds are good too, most of the kick for gaming comes from the graphics card.

Don't bother clocking ans cooling the men, its marginal for modern Intel comps.

Also the reason a smaller RAM graphics card could be better is because you need as fast RAM as pos. For advanced FSAA and the like, if thats your thing. Usually if a cars has extra ram its slower and/or may have lower bus width (again giving lower performance in some cases).

Posted from my Fucking smartphone so spelling is iffy.
As for power 650 from a quality PSU is >> cheaper with higher watts. I'm running a power hungrier rig than yours on 500w with room to spare.
Yes and GET an SSD!

IN SHORT:

You're fine with that setup.
Enjoy!

So I do not need 750 watts? I'm fine with 650? even if I choose to upgrade a bit later on?

I already has a corsair SSD

My rig draws ~335W during full load measured weath wattmeter in the wall outlet.
(my old company kept one to calculate power draw when projecting&deploying server farms)

Sure go 750W if you're intendin to run SLI/xfire and/or overclock, or just for piece of mind.

(and yes Im on my weekly binge now )

You don't really need an i7 if you're planning on mostly games. Go with an i5-2500 and it'l do just as well and save you some money. Thats what I did and I'm glad I didn't spend the extra $200 for an i7 that i didn't really need even if it was ooo shiny.
