The problem is that we already have way too many legal immigrants without even addressing the illegal ones.

Yes you're obtuse. No where in here did anyone say that we should prioritize fixing the Mexican economy over our own, or that we should be financially responsible for doing so. The point is, illegals come here to work for wages Americans won't but those wages are still WAY better then what they get in Mexico in many instances. So if you're looking to stop the illegal immigration you have to understand the reason for them doing so and then address that reason appropriately.
Apparently you don't live in a sanctuary city and don't see the effects of subsidizing illegal alien invaders or you're in denial of it. I live in NYC, I see the effects every day. I see that 160 year old hospitals have been driven out of business which robs the community they were in of their services because of unconstitutional government mandates that forces these hospitals to provide goods and services that is impossible for them to budget.
Why I would support fixing the economy of another nation while my own country is over 15 trillion dollars in debt is beyond insane. Why I would support fixing the economy of another nation while we have almost 46 million people getting tax payer funded assistance is insane. We have a real world unemployment rate of 23% and I am supposed to care about the economy of another nation?

I already provided a link to source demonstrating that we do in fact take in too many legal immigrants. But I know that you will ignore that link because each and every time you are given a link you proudly proclaim that you won't visit it and are just trolling because your bored or such.

and youve never had to listen to european immigrants talk about the special treatment mexicans get.
i think there needs to be a fair system for immigration that treats all of them the same.
which would probably include lowering the amount of mexicans we let into the country every year.

Thank you for proving my point and Sweeny wrong.
I don't read YOUR crazy links to crazy websites and insane videos. I click people's links I have respect for and want to hear their opinions. Don't fret, you aren't one of them.

This has actually been brought up by more of the extreme conservatives. The border fence needs to be much more sturdy. Things like having a deep ditch and concrete walls.. more like the great wall of china type wall /shrug
the great wall was never good at keeping people out.

Your source is retarded.
Just like our immigration policy. Because the caps are so low and it's totally focused on family reuinfication we end up taking at least 50% unproductive people and then closing our doors to hard-working immigrants who would be a huge boon to our economy.

This is also laughably wrong. Unless you are talking about eastern europeans.

I disagree, we are a nation of immigrants, too many of them is an arbitrary number that is ridiculous in it's assumptions.
No sir, it is not an arbitrary number. There is a finite amount of resources. You can not indefinitely add numbers and not suffer consequences to the resources.
There are finite resources if those laborers are in Mexico. There are finite resources if those laborers are in the United States. Keeping them in Mexico doesnt fix this problem.
What you need is to be more productive with the resources you have. American labor is light years more productive than Mexican labor. Moving immigrants to the US improves the one problem you have highlighted.
The one problem would be the resource of land. If the US population was highly concentrated and it would be difficult to find a square inch of unused land for new immigrants.......and we cant really import new land from S. America or the Middle East....but we dont have that problem.
Think about this harder. Try to get around your dislike of brown people.
