He's from Hong Kong where they speak a different "language", but he still doesn't sound anything like that girl.

The accent is fine. The fact that she looks like a member of the VietKong from some 1980's Chuck Norris flick is clearly the bigger issue.

That and the gong makes it perfect. The fact that most Americans don't consider any kind of attack on "Asians" and especially Chinese to be racist doesn't mean it isn't racist. It obviously is. The fact that almost all Chinese people don't care also doesn't make it not racist. I found the ad to be extremely predictable and of some comedic value and that was it.
In America logic goes out the window though, it's all about grievance and noise.

It is not racist as much as openly hostile to China.
They would have been better off using a Foxconn employee which appeals to the same hatred of the Chinese regime while also appealing to their empathy for the working people.

They're more or less the same thing, though. American hostility toward China is mostly rooted in racial hatred, with some Christian nuttery sprinkled in. They just disguise this obvious fact with lies about culture, politics and the economy.

The only way someone would think that wasn't racist was if they themselves were so utterly racist that they couldn't detect its presence.
It's like asking a guy who pours salt on every single thing he eats if this sausage you just made is 'salty'. He's so inured in salt that he'll happily say 'No, not at all!'.

I have no clue wtf you are talking about honestly. China as a country sucks but Chinese people and culture are cool.
