He could have just taken away her access to the internet.
Instead he acted just like her (an immature child) by doing his own venting in public, and used violence to solve a simple problem that didn't call for any, AND ruined a freaking laptop that he just shelled out money for.
What an idiot. Her friends are proabably laughing at him over the whole thing, so his public embarassment angle failed too.

The two things I would have flipped out about was the cleaning lady stuff and the big one is denying parents access to Facebook. I can shrug off the stuff said about parents, I expect that sometimes with a teenager. My son was making extra work for our housekeeper one summer and even thought he had the right to assign her his chores to do, she got a week off with pay can you guess who was doing her work?
