That's just a cop out. You can't answer the questions can you? What in your eyes makes me a conservative? I am honestly curious.

OK BOOM you're a liberal.
If you really believe he is a conservative you can't do that, he has to be excommunicated first.
Do I have to fill out forms? ...or does he?
Life would be so much easier if he would just accept his conservative leanings.

I support the idea that some people deserve to die for their crimes. I don't trust the gov't enough to want them to do it though. This is the real irony of the conservative position, IMO.

As long as it is a jury trial aren't you trusting the people?

No. And even if I was I wouldn't trust them.
The law has very specific rules about what "the people" get to see, what they get to hear, how that info is filtered, and all of those decisions are made by the gov't. Further the instructions are designed, written and read by the gov't.
now that doesn't mean that juries or the government are usually wrong. but how many times do they need to be wrong before you feel like it might not be a good idea to let them decide to kill someone?

Most of the time that works in favor of the accused. In the Casey Anthony trial, like many others, the jurors said if they had been able to hear many of the things the judge kept out of the trial they would have convicted her.

In many cases it does. in many cases it doesn't.
Let's look at it another way. Take "mistake" out of the equation. How many trials do you think are won or lost by lawyer skill?
