I dont believe the Republican party is serious about controlling spending or ending our many foreign wars. Its a big spending war mongering party.
New leadership is needed. Get rid of that Jersey Shore guy in charge in the Senate

The upcoming electoral landslide for Obama should drive the REpublicans away from CATO and Rick Santorum... but i don't have much faith in REpublicans

They are also opposed to individual civil rights and trumpet corporate causes whenever they can. Democrats are still a pretty smudged ticket; but Republicans have set the bar so damned low that Dems can be flaky and yet still look far better.

They are pretty much diametrically opposed. Tough to move away from both of them.
The Republican party doesn't like losing. A double digit loss will force many in the party to realize that they've lost touch with modern America.

Republicans are for some individual rights but none related to reproduction.
Democrats are against many individual rights and the area they attack these rights are related to the environment, gun control, and other areas.
