Some of the best street food I ever had was in... Cairo, Egypt.
No idea what possessed me to be that insanely brave, but, there you go.
The food was great, especially that Kusherie stuff. And I didn't pick up any lifelong parasites.
That I know of.

buying street food with uncooked veggies in south asia is like asking to get amoeba dysentery, that's spending the next 3-4 weeks shitting yourself 20 pounds lighter.. I know some of you would need it.

Yeah. The Egyptian foray into cooked street food was as far as I dared.
No way I'd be buying crap off the roadside in most of Asia.
