Loving only people that love you is easy. The Bible says you must love even love people that hate you. This is difficult

Hate is bad for the soul. Loving and forgiving is good for the soul. You get consumed by hate and you are controlled by the other person and eventually you become like that person. If you love and forgive you are set free from hate.

Is it really love for them, or love for yourself?
What does it mean to forgive?

Well there are many different types of love. I do really believe forgiveness is key to moving forward with your life. Forgiveness is for you and your mental wellbeing not theirs.

Our pack mentality and feelings for family is just a evolutionary construct to make us a more successful predator and help us survive and grow.
Ofc there are people who can't love, there are people who can't display or feel any number of emotions, we call them psychopaths.. But there is another whole range of psychological problems that can cause a person not to have a properly functioning emotional spectrum.

Easy, it's a chemical function in our body that releases endorphin's when the right triggers are hit.. Humans are biological constructs that are primed for certain things.
1. avoid death.
2. eat, sleep, drink and sustain bodily functions.
3. procreate.
We're actually very uncomplicated animal, you people like to put us on some pedestal and exclaim that we're the master plan in the schemes of this super-human deity whose wisdom spans the entirety of the universe, and when you look at the end product you realize what a shitty incompetent hack that alleged god is, especially when he made those that follow him.. I mean what a bunch of weaklings.
