Was that to me? I don't care about being brown. I do support vengeance though.

What about the families who want the person convicted of killing their loved ones to be executed?
Do you support their vengeance?
Also, if the possibility of innocence bothers you with regards to the death penalty how do you feel about the thousands of innocent civilians that have died as a result of the war in Afghanistan?

If the family wants to take the law into their hands and do what they want then they need to face the consequences. I've always been of this thought.
What bothers me about the death penalty is you cannot undo that.
Why do I have to mention the difference between death in war and the death penalty? You can't see the difference?

Quote:
Mr. Arthur has requested advanced DNA testing of a wig worn by the killer, which could help establish his innocence (or his guilt, for that matter). The Alabama authorities have so far opposed additional testing—despite the fact that Mr. Arthur’s counsel has offered to pay for it and that it could be completed before his execution date.

Of course I can see the difference
A person on trial has a chance to defend himself. An innocent civilian killed in a war zone has no chance to defend himself.
More innocent people have been killed by military operations in Afghanistan than have been executed mistakenly in the U.S. You can't undo their deaths either.
So, why is the war for vengeance better than a trial for vengeance?
