Do you open all your windows..or make sure everything is closed up?

Growing up..we were always told during a tornado watch to make sure your windows are open to lessen the pressure..now I hear keep everything closed up..what do you think?

It doesn't matter. They are so quick and so power full that if they are close enough to change the pressure in your house it's all ready taking your roof off.

Opening windows is actually dangerous as it creates a way for the wind to get inside the house and causes outward pressure on the structure. Of course with anything above an F3 it really doesn't matter.

Considering most homes are built to only withstand 80 -120 mph winds I dont think it makes any difference when talking about a tornado. Now if you were talking about hurricanes then yes keep windows closed.

Watch the mythbusters episode on it.

In short: keep windows closed

Or you could just move...

Living around a bunch of people that God obviously hates is not a good idea IMO.

If you are driving a motorcycle through the Midwest can you outrun a Tornado if you see it heading your way? Also has anyone ever built a tornado suit with a parachute and some protective armor where you launch yourself into the tornado and then float down in Munchkinland? Huh?

Easily. Hell you can usually jog out of a tornado's way - provided that you see it coming.

Once again though, once it gets to F3 or better, all bets are off.

Being tossed by a tornado that's pushing objects at 120 MPH or more means that all the protective gear in the world is useless. That's approaching the terminal velocity of someone jumping out of a plane at 10,000 feet. If you think you can build a suit that will survive that many Gs on impact... well... go for it.
