Food stamps and welfre are cheap.. And people really do need them. No one becomes a millionaire from scammong that system.
Go after low hanging fruit.. Medicare fraud costs us billions every year and its educated people that would otherwise be well to do stealing the money.

no it's not. At the beginning the cost may be cheap, but when you subsidize something, you get more of it
When you get more of it, than the costs for it ruse, no longer becoming so cheap
eodoil does mot address the illegality of the system nor the fact that the money to run this illegal system requires government to steal from citizens thus making the system immoral as well as illegal

When you offer someone free food, free health care, free housing, free utilities, why are you surprised when they sit back and enjoy it (or work under the able so they keep their freebies).

the average net salary for a German is usually 10-15% less than their US counterpart and there is no way to opt out
Germans have compulsory military conscription, something that dies not exist here in The US
The cost to the German individual for all these government perks is to be a share cropping slave to the state
And while some here might embrace such a miserable existence, the feeling is not universal

That has nothing to do with it being bad, people do that in every country where it's possible. That's human nature, take advantage of a system whenever you can. It would be like that no matter which system was in place, government or private.
