No one thinks they know it all. If you feel threatened when talking to atheists that's on you not them.

Also, I would consider thinking the being that created the universe cares about anything you do to be pretty narcissistic.

One could almost call it egocentric...

Anybody with half a brain, regardless of faith, knows that NO human knows it all. Most probably know 5% or less of all human knowledge.

[Edit:]And humans are rather uninformed, from a universal perspective. FAR more information out there than we know or have means to learn as yet.

They do dismiss the creation theory completely. The central tenant of atheism is that there is no creator or group of creators. That is really something big to claim to know. There are endless ways to imagine the original formation of life, but there needs to be a side to join against the most popular (and crazy) creation theories of god I guess, and that's atheism.

I love the athiest vs thiest debates here and elsewhere. It is always a bunch of blowhards making the same old arguments that amount to either yes!! or no!! and in the end, nobody's right and everyone looks dumb

What every person has in common is that nobody has any more of a clue wtf it's all about than anybody else

If you don't believe in God, why would you believe a God or Gods created the earth?

Besides, most Christians (hell, ANY non-atheist religious group) dismiss evolution completely, and that's actually got physical evidence all over the place.

There is an event horizon to our knowledge. It's something that you all seem to agree with me on. No one knows it all. You douche canoes already agreed with me on that, so don't try to back track. Without knowing it all there is no way to put all the pieces together. We will never see the complete full picture. So to say you know there is no God is the ultimate self delusion.

I may never know if God actually exists, but looking at the miracle of our universe, I have faith He does.

This.

It just goes to show the power of indoctrination and what organized religion is really all about. Control.
