I'm also pretty sure I'd be wearing my wingtips or any of my other designer leather shoes.. The cordage is pretty damn awesome to have out in nature.

the real question is...
if the deserted island could provide all of your human needs,
would you try to find your way back to "society".

I've spent a week or so out in the woods upon occasion, there is a difference about choosing solitude and having it forced upon you.
But spending a week or so fishing and building a shelter foraging for food etc in a warm climate does not sound horrible.
But going at it Tom Hanks style seems excessive.
