If I were stranded on a desert island I'd take in as much of the island as I cared to then I'd off myself.
The thought of being permanently alone is one of my biggest fears.
If you're alone what is the point of being alive?

Whoa. I love my family, but I love my alone time also. I'd do just fine on a deserted island I am sure. I much to much of a coward to off myself. That's going to hurt and I am a pussy when it comes to pain.

We all have self delusions. Our self delusions are for how we want others to see us. We are a social creature and without this perceived outlet for our delusions we would go insane. There would be no motivation.
