Why do you need a memory card? It holds 1,400 books.

um so you can have more than 1400 boos, or a combination of books, music, videos, magazines...

Yah, I gotta think by the time I get to that limit, a newer version of said device has come out and I'm upgrading or I delete a magazine/book that I've read. So that's not really a consideration for me.

I travel a lot (or at least used to) so my e-reader was the end all be all...
Think I have about 2k books on my nook atm and 10 or so movies and some random tunes just in case...

I keep my kindle under 100 books or so. Every time I load a really big library on it, it starts crashing.
When I'm done with a book, I delete it immediately. Stuff to read later just sits in a folder on my desktop, and when I plug in to charge I'll transfer another handful of books at the same time.

I've got 30,000 or so on my computer. Not that I'll ever read them all, it's just easier than picking and choosing.

Same way I afford movies and music, I borrow them from other people. Difference is, novels are so tiny that 30,000 of them fit on a $20 thumb drive.
