Kindle is a good choice. Their books are reasonable and the choice is good. I wanted something a little more so I got my Zoom. The Book Nook is also a good choice but if I was to buy today, for a reader only, it would be a Kindle.
I’m using the Kindle software for my books now. Good type and less strain on the battery than some of the others.
