In ideal world Israel would tear down the settlements from Palestinian areas, Hamas and co would stop lobbing rockets at Israel and Jerusalem would be made UN governed city state with guaranteed access to all three sides that consider the city holy.

what i do care about is seeing a two state solution and end to the violence
There will be a 2 state solution. And the temple will be put on a sharing arrangement. A charismatic man will accomplish all this. He will also turn out to be the anti christ. Who will make a covenant with israel for 7 years and in the middle he will break it. Read the scriptures. It will happen. There is no need to know what will or wont happen with israel. Its all there. The question isnt if but when. When is what we dont know. We know what will happen but not when or who will make it happen. It hasnt been revealed just yet. But soon.
