Self-reported stuff like this can always be tricky.
If a liberal posts something that is pro-gay rights or pro-choice, a conservative could believe they are unfriending or blocking that person because of religious differences rather than political differences. However, if the conservative posts something that is anti-gay rights or pro-life, a liberal could believe they are unfriending or blocking that person because of political differences rather than religious differences.

Liberals feel that only they have to right to rant about anything. Getting the other sides view might change theirs. They cannot let that happen. A liberal's idea if debate is an echo chamber.

I only unfriended this woman who I didnt know who sent me a send request from POF.
I only friend people I know on the Outpost or in RL which isnt many. I think that the times of friending everyone one on facebook are over. It proves nothing.

The only political spam I get on Facebook comes from the conservative Christian contingent of my friends. I haven't blocked or unfriended anyone beyond the farmville and hororscope type spam.

I don't use facebook because it annoys the hell out of me.
I enjoyed high school and all but having to "like" everyones crap that is your friend in order to stay in their good graces is tedious at best.

Actually I wonder what percentage of 'conservatives':
A) Have internet
B) Know about facebook
C) Have a facebook account
D) Know how to log into facebook
E) Know hot to friend and unfriend people

Facebook is useful and good. I dont have a lot of friends or even relatives but its been very positive for me so far
