In every category, people who identified as liberal were more likely to shun their connections over political disagreements. Twenty-eight percent of liberal users have unfriended or blocked someone, while 16 percent of conservatives and 14 percent of moderates admitted to doing the same.

Liberals don't like to associate with the casual racism and bigotry that conservatives display on FB. Conservatives can't really compute anyone who disagrees with the Fox News litany on issues and just assume they're crazy but harmless.

I made this post because people kept posting political shit that I didn't want to see and after I told someone that they should lose their welfare if they can't pass a drug test.
Note: I don't want to know your politics. Most of you I friended because I wanted a larger Mafia in Mafia wars. I got bored of that after a few minutes. So if you post something that I don't like, I'll just defriend. I'm a jerk, I want to argue with you and point out why you're wrong, I've learned that most people aren't intelligent enough to have a conversation defending their point of view without resulting in strawman idiocy or emotional retorts that have no bearing on the issue discussed. So as we roll into the political season and you see your friend list drop by one, know it's nothing personal I'd rather keep on good graces than create animosity over politics on facebook. Oh and here's a picture of dog.
If people don't want to hear what I have to say I don't give a crap if they defriend me, it seems more intelligent to surround yourself with folks who won't piss you off.
