I got nothing - don't know too much about monitor technology. Mine seems to work just fine for me...

yeah and I7 costs what again???
With the AM3+ socket you will be able to upgrade the proc for a long time. The 8120/8150 is the initial 8 core proc from AMD and performance wise it just needs the OS/SW to fully utilize it and when that kicks in i7 is going to be sitting there with it's junk in it's hand wondering where it's lunch money went...
Top of the line i7 = ~$600 bucks
Top of the line i5 = ~$300 bucks and it's a quad core running at a lower speed...
Intel fanboi's are a joke...

You posted a bunch of blah blah specs about something - my monitor has all the colors in the world.
I literally have no effing clue wtf you are talking about - but then again I honestly don't know much about monitors.

I have owned AMD and I7. This is a point of controversy. I dont mind spending a little extra for the Pentium. Is it worth it? Im just not a MAC guy

Currently yes - AMD has nothing on the performance of the i7.
But you will have to get an intel fan boi to give up the secrets of the actual CPU sweet spot and MoBo to go along with it.

Just go to the shop and ask them to put IPS and TN matrix
monitors side by side and you'll see it...or you won't

Riiight...
AMD has NEVER had the performance of Intel chips. This year is the 1st year since 2008 that I have used an Intel chip..and I dont think I will go back.
Plus..why are you comparing the top of the line I7 to the top of the line AMD? Thats like comparing a top of the line Buick to a top of the line Porche.
The top of the line I5 rates comparable to the AMD fx8100.
