Interesting that all the Atheists in this thread are also the most angry outposters! While all the people of Faith here are the warm and fuzzy ones.

I hate plenty of people. Can't think of any I hate simply because they are religious however. I don't think Christians in general are particularly bigoted or anti-science either.

IF people would just be 'good' to each other and stfu about religion, it'd be ok with me.
If you need a 'god' to motivate you, you are not worthy of respect.

I never said I hate people who do me ill, or that I don't love people who do good things for me. It usually doesn't really matter either way honestly. Crap done to or for me has little effect on me these days. Been there, done that, got bored, stopped paying attention.
I hate stupid people. I hate evil people. I don't care if their stupidity or evil personally affected me or not. I still hate them. And no, I don't think your opinion about how I should treat them means a damn thing. But thanks for offering it.
Oh, I also hate sanctimonious drivel, but not always the person spouting it. |

I don't know that I'd say it's indicative of 'most' of them, but I'd agree that there are quite a few Christians who are good people. Good people come from all walks of life. As do the dbags unfortunately. Thankfully my community has a larger contingent of the former than the latter - I love my little community.
And then sometimes you have the dbags who honestly believe they're righteously good... I see one in this thread.
