If someone unknown follows you and is not a police officer, no matter which you way you look at it, it's a threat - possibly very lethal threat.

Yeah, I know. Usually I ignore him since he's either a really good troll or a painfully stupid human being. Every once in awhile I put all that aside to ridicule him, though.

In your perfect world, the government only arrests people they "know" to be guilty. Usually those governments either do away with trials altogether or turn them into showcases where the result is already known beforehand. You really think that's the lesser of two evils here?

So would you let anyone follow and chase you or would you fight back? I'm just wondering which you'd go.
I can't see any situation in which Zimmerman is justified running after an innocent person. And based on Florida's stand your ground law, trayvon had the right to defend himself.
