Also, a mixture of butter and syrup goes great on peanut butter toast.
You can use syrup instead of sugar on corn flakes, makes them taste sorta Canadian (which means reminiscent of a Moose burger and beer).
Syrup on salmon is addicting.
Syrup and cheddar are made to go together.
It's not just for pancakes anymore.
I tried syrup on salmon, it was great !
Syrup on eggs and toasts is also super awesome.

No maple syrup in Argentina. 
I substituted Nutella once and it was pretty good, but pancakes just aren't the same without maple syrup... so I gave them up (along with waffles.) |
