I put very little syrup on mine. I don't like them soggy. Pancakes suck anyway French toast is where it's at.

Maybe for plain pancakes, but blueberry pancakes (or any other variety) can be just fine without syrup.

Buckwheat pancakes should be eaten covered in melted bacon fat....not syrup.
They should already be full of both blueberries and brown sugar, no need to make them any sweeter, and the bacon fat is pretty damn delicious.

While I would not so far as to call people names I cannot see hating a pancake without syrup. Perhaps you can use fruit but I still prefer syrup. The key is not to eat to many or to often. I make them once a month or so.
