I don't let others do my thinking for me. My father watches Fox and I've watched it for multiple hours over the last few months. I've also tuned into MSNBC and sampled several of their clips, as noted on this board, several times over the last year.
They're both, on the whole, horribly biased and useless pieces of propaganda crap who distort by selective coverage, by selective interpretation, by outright disdainful editorializing, or all three. Depending on which segment is showing.
Fox has SOME saving grace in their libertarian fare, but even that has its issues. (And even that is getting swept away, see: the Napolitano cancellation).

No. They aren't as biased.
Not in their actual news shows that is.
Anyone who says they are is full of crap or hasn't actually watched their news.
Their hosts don't ad-lib stupid talking points that are direct out takes from a party organization, nor do they perpetuate clearly biased stupidity as "news".
Give FOX the respect they have earned. They are openly and proudly an operative of the "conservatives". While MSNBC is full of opinion shows that are open about their affiliation to "liberal" ideals..their news isn't constantly interrupted by the hosts spewing biased nonsense.
I'm no big supporter of MSNBC, I think they fail at being a news organization because they devote all of their evening hours to biased shows, but their news shows in the morning and early afternoon are just weak, not openly advocating a political viewpoint.
FOX is 100%, all the time, always on....."conservative". They stand alone and their ratings reflect this. They give their audience exactly what they want 100% of the time....and that's a "conservative" take on everything.

I watch the freakin' BBC (sad) for general US news for survey purposes.
If I had a billion dollars, I would start a news network that actually IS unbiased and gives 2 or 3 sides of every story. I can't imagine how much time it would save people like me weekly. Hours.

The dude is even worse than Maddow. It isn't as obvious at first but then bam he is unbelievably horrific.
