That's funny, I don't know a thing about Ayn Rand other than she was a shitty author with a loony straw-man philosophy.

It's not a stamp of approval, it's a scathing, sarcastic retort against your idiocy that in no way implies approval of anything your diseased mind might be raving about.

Get some help man.

Ayn Rand's philosophy is an overreaction to her dad getting pwned in the Russian Revolution.

I've never heard of her before I came here. It seems the most people affected by her are LWNs.

If you ever want to get one to melt down, just mention how you just finished Atlas Shrugged and what an awesome book it was. You'll get a lot of free entertainment value out of it.

The book is a lot longer than it needs to be, but she has a lot of specific examples that could be taken directly from today's headlines.

...or the headlines from 500 years ago, or 1000 years ago.

It's not that people read the book that is so funny, it's that they then go on about it's "revelations" and "how precise she was in her predictions", blather, blather, blather.

It's a religion to some people, a religion based upon nonsense and stupidity that inspires it's adherents to be willfully stupid and quote nonsense as if it had some deep meaning....so yeah, I take every opportunity to point out how stupid the people that fall for the crap are.

It's never a meltdown though, it's always with fits of laughter that I do so. Be assured, if you ever spout anything Randian....I'm laughing at your stupid ass.

It's like being one of those crazy Scientology nuts and you are jumping on a couch on Oprah telling the world that they are all insane while making a total ass out of yourself, just too much fun to ignore.
