Be honest now! 
If my child turned to religion I'd just have someone to argue with over a scotch during the holidays, sounds more like fun to me. 
I'd also not raise my child to be an Atheist, I'd however do the same thing as my theist parents did namely instill a didactic prowess by that I mean that I'd read history to the child instead of faerie tales.. My dad did this with me after I started to inquire about the second world war and from there we more or less went through the history of the world and Sweden was one of my happiest memories from my childhood I'd also read all the mythology to them, my dad started with the Greek ones and then we went on from there.. I've always found the Norse faith very fascinating.

My children would understand and believe in logic and science, i.e. they would be Christians.

As long as my children are happy I am happy. Whether they choose to believe in god or not is irrelevant.

As long as they came to the decision on their own, their religion wouldn't bother me at all. Unless they were in some kind of cult or something.

My children will be raised spiritually. Meaning I will not enforce one religion on them but expose them to many different organizations and let them choose their own path. When I was a kid my mom took me to many different churches/temples. The result was someone who believes in a higher power and spirituality. My child will one day be an adult and they can do whatever they want.
