It's not misleading advertising. I can advertise unlimited data to you at 14.4kbps it's still unlimited data. Advertising is always misleading, and sometimes in the wrong direction. Example is all those car commercials saying 38 MPGs Miles per gallons? You could claim 300 MPGs and be just fine with that claim, same as unlimited data.
I'm also confused how this has nothing to do with entitled children... it's all about entitled people thinking that they are getting screwed out of something they believe should exist, such as limitless bandwidth.
