For the love of pete just be happy that you can pick up your PHONE and instead of dialing 411, you say "Pizza" into the damn thing and a bunch of red pins pop up showing you not only the restaurants but every picture some retard has snapped of the food they made, a menu, the name of the waitress working there right now, her phone number, bust size, and turn ons and offs.

But Ian, they don't specify unlimited data at 3g speeds, they say unlimited data.
I agree it sucks and to be honest, I never come close to being throttled even though I'm on the grandfathered unlimited plan from AT&T on my iPhone so I really don't care either way. I'm actually wasting money by keeping the unlimited plan most likely... but man I just can't seem to bring myself to dump it... JUST IN CASE.

All of this, except Verizon instead of AT&T for me. I take unlimited data to mean that I will never incur an "overage" fee for using more than X amount of data, and I'm fine with that. They could easily go the web hosting route and just say, "  eah, you use too much bandwidth, and we're no longer hosting you. Bye." I'd rather be throttled, if I ever got that bad, than forced into a tiered plan with overage rates.
