Want new and more customers:


1. Make up to level 24 F2P.

2. Put in a level 22-24 epic quest that gives those who finish it a complete twinked out set of gear for Thid. Maxed out resists, skills, stats, etc....

3. Fix the plucked up pet pathing issues.

4. Also, put epic quest gear in for Molvick levels.

5. Open up Cal for level 50s under RR5 all the time.


When WAR goes free to play (and it will). I hope they also make DAOC that way. I am playing LoTRO right now. Going F2P and having fresh start servers has brought in tons of new people, lots of vets who wanted a reboot and a very vibrant atmosphere. Lots of cash coming in means new content and support. They have probably added many years worth of active dev support with this model.


DAOC would be great as F2P.

or.....why not offer 2 maps per level, one small and tight (Thid) and one a bit larger (Molvik)...I only play/level in the BG's and since people only seem to play from 20 to 25 then plevel themselves to Molvik the middle BG's are deadsville.

Best thing to do for both Warhammer and Daoc is to make daoc free or $5 with Warhammer acct. May get a lot more new players if it was only $5 extra.
