Another person that just doesnt understand/get it..DAOC is on life support..they dont have the people to fix bugs and continue..with another expansion..duh..Nuff said 
Agreed. The people who attend to the game can barely keep the servers running.

Best advice. Play DAoC as is, or wait for GW2 like so many of us.
Sadly, EA is calling the shots now. Most resources are devoted toward StarWars now.

Need to create a New New Frontiers with the best things from both OF and NF...NF happened becuase OF had been around for a long time and something 'new' was needed.
I guess rather then going back to OF, a NFNF is needed
Maybe I will create a few concepts for fun. There are a lot of neat possibilities and things that exist for this game.

Someone with a VN account dated in 2010 shouldn't have anything to say about bringing life to the game. If you didn't play OF stfu about Origins.
hi. I played daoc at release. the prospect of an origins server is the only reason I visit these forums every few months. please find an excuse to dismiss me, thanks.
oh, and your guild is absolutely terrible in darkfall. ta.

a revised frontier would be neat and all.. but again... Mythic doesnt currently have the resources to make major changes to the game, before they could even think of it they would need to get aproval from EA for the finances and manpower to cover the undertaking.. and to do that they would need to convince EA that there would be a return on the investment.. and sadly... that isnt possible.

could probably do it with 2 people since all you really need to redesign is the terrain itself and maybe a few keeps/towers

Then draw up new textures. Then map them. Then map the LOS. Then test the LOS code results. Then figure out new terrain feature placement. Lots of things would need to be done.
In short, far larger than a 2 person job.

my guild hasn't played together for years, buncha noobs on darkfall.
Origins isn't a valid solution period. What needs to be done are better patches and essentially more mini expansions like a better NF. There aren't enough subscriptions and there won't be to bring about any big changes.
The game will continue to go on as it has been with small changes. Just like UO, AC1, SB, etc.
