If I'm trying to farm glass "solo" (I run 3 accounts) I typically do Fire Island. Rassa is a pretty good source of glass as well, but takes more characters, and is likely permanently camped on Ywain.

Pretty good list.
I am still a little confused about all the new 'purchaseable' ToA stuff.
So I get that Bounty points can buy ML encounter credit, and Artifact encounter credit. I'm still leveling up, and I have no bounty points... do I have to wait until NF RvR to get bounty points, or are there other ways?
Apparently ML x.10 mobs drop Atlantean Glass which can be used to buy Dragonslayer armor/weapons. Does glass also purchase ML encounter credits or artifact encounter credits? Are there other ways to get glass?
If Glass purchases Dragonslayer armor/weapons, do I need to farm Dragon Scales? What is the point of Dragon Scales if not?

0) With stack o' glass or bounty points you can buy a) artifact encounter credit, b) scrolls for said artifacts, c) ml encounter credit, d) scrolls that give you ml xp, and other do-dads. You buy tokens from a merchant and give 'em to a guy and bam you're done. 1) Any char with bounty points can buy bounty point items for your char. Try /wtb and state how many bp you need. 2) Most all "non-trash" monsters drop glass. The .10 ones drop the most. This is the only way to get glass. 3) Whoops! Buy Slayer stuffs with glass? Strange. Patch Notes 1.99 say so... but...

you can use glass to purchase master levels.
you have to a) buy the 'credit' for the level and b) the experience to make the 'credit' work. you can buy both credits and experience (via scrolls) in the Ruins zone in ToA.

Hey, I just came back too, I have a thread elsewhere, but there's a lot of good info here.
Is there a good place to see lists of good item sets? For instance for template making, I look at special items I want in the temp, such as artis or good weapons and then I try to get the best stats I can depending on class after that. So I guess primarily I'd look at artis, add them in, look at my epic to see if any pieces would fit in, find good RoG or dropped jewelry and then SC the rest. But now I don't really know where to start...I mean I guess still with artis? but what's all this dragon stuff? and what other item sets are worth comparing?
Oh and what bg's are active? I see a lot of thidranki posts...is that 20-24? Any others populated enough to play in?

That was true before Scales were added. Now you do Scales to buy Slayer stuff...

For making templates download Korts, Gearbunny or Loki. Not sure which if any of those is up-to-date, but anything is better than nothing. Also look on the class boards for templates.
Active BGs - Thid and Molvik.
