The Quartermaster's Assistant sells the "basic" advanced horse in the throne room. You MUST talk to the King each and every time you earn a full bar of CXP to advance to the new level. However, even if you don't talk to the King after the first time, you will accumulate CXP, so don't worry about losing CXP. 2b) Every CL level mean a few more hits and a bit greater power pool! ((Note I had a ton of plat from way back when)) I transferred to Ywain. Went to ToA Ruins and bought ML's for old Bounty Points and Glass (which I bought in housing) Went and talked to the king to start CL's. Is it right that any xp I earn will go toward CL now? Bought a horse. RvR'd a couple times (RR2.2). With no guild it is fairly difficult to get in a Battle Group. Farmed dragonscales in Dartmoor and bought some dragon items. This character is a reaver with a sort of crappy template because I'm from classic and have no arties currently - a few dragon items and player crafted. Lvl'd a new character, theurg, up to 37 and have purchased 5 artis (gem of lost memories, orions belt, taldors staff, and 2 i cant wear yet - maddening scalars and guard of valor) So I think I'm off to a good start. Questions. How do I get a RvR horse? And where do recruiting guilds post? I really should get into a guild that battlegroups. What do I need to know about CL's? And with dragon scales, if I purchase one of the 150x gems from the dragon npc in the capitol city, can I really trade that for a piece of armor? It has truly been a pain trying to figure all this crap out on my own. This thread is such a good idea. Nope, not all xp goes toward CLXP. Quest xp does not always, in fact rarely. Although the repeatable quests do go towards clxp so that's a good thing. In hib the "supplies" quest is very easy (Especially compared to mid/alb versions) and once a person gets port to Sheeroe it's pretty easy to get cl10 just running that. My suggestion would be to do the lab quest as far as you can. It's killer clxp and plat. It's fairly easy to get pretty far into it as well as a great deal doesn't even involve being in lab. 	18) Remember when you used to have no idea whether stats on armor or jewelry would work on your char until you tried it on? Look carefully at the bottom of any item's delved info and you will now see the words "Bonus Level" and a number. You must be that level or higher for the stats, resists, and caps to work for you. 19) In the old days, the Bonus Level for crafted and ROG items was zero. This is no longer true. 	1) During the dragon campaign there was a quest in each realm to help rebuild the towns that the dragons had destroyed. After the event Mythic left that quest in place. They are repeatable (15 times) and give massive XP. You have to be 50. There is a ton of running around but the quests pay massive XP and CXP. Just go to you realm's throne room and start talking to npcs.
